Graveside services for Vivian Burns Pickett of Hazlehurst are 2p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, at Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pickett, 85, died Dec. 18, 2002, at Hardy Wilson Hospital.She was born in Wesson on Aug. 14, 1917, to C. L. Burns and RebeccaSmith Burns.

She was retired from McRae’s in Jackson. She was a member ofRocky Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LloydPickett; and three brothers and one sister.

Survivors are her brother, Quitman Burns and wife Ruby Nell ofWesson; her brother-in-law, Robert Ingram of Wesson; and numerousnieces and nephews.
