Services for Edith C. Hart of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. Sunday,Oct. 20, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, Oct.20, from 8 a.m. until noon at Brookhaven Funeral Home and Sunday,Oct. 20, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Mrs. Hart, 88, died Oct. 17, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Jan. 12, 1914, to the late James RowanCannon and Ellen Christine Starnes.

She was retired after 25 years with Movie Star Manufacturing inMagnolia. She was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, whereshe was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School class.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Alton Hart;son, Lloyd Hart; and two grandchildren, Regina Lynn Hart and theinfant daughter of Huey P. Hart.

Survivors are her sons, Alton Roger Hart and Wendell Roe Hart,both of Bogue Chitto, and Huey P. Hart of Brookhaven; daughters,Syble Lang of McComb, Christine Smith of Dallas, Janis Landrum ofFlowood and Francis Davis of Madison; 15 grandchildren; and 24great-grandchildren.
