NATCHEZ – Brittany Smith belted a home run and a single to leadthe Brookhaven Lady Panthers to a 12-11 win over the Natchez LadyBulldogs Monday night in slowpitch softball action.

Pitcher Mandy Vinson posted the win and contributed at the platewith a triple and a single. A homer was hit by Ashley Sykes.Hitting a double and three singles was Samantha Boutwell. Threesingles were drilled by Kensey Hoff. Kayla Prince singled twice.Cortney Fielder and Chuvaquah Smith hit safely.

Natchez 10, Brookhaven 8

In the junior varsity game, Laura Waldrop led the Lady Pantherswith three singles. Tripling was Sykes. Lauren Smith, BrittanySmith, Prince, Jana Wallace and Kelly Vinson singled. BrittanySmith was the losing pitcher.
