Services for Dorothy Brooks Hamilton of Pearl are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Sept. 12, at Lakewood Funeral Home with burial inLakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hamilton, 81, died Sept. 9, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Helena, Ark., on Feb. 5, 1921.

She was a childcare provider. She was a member of McLaurinHeights Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, J. E. Hamilton.

Survivors are her daughters, Betty Delaughter of Brookhaven,Linda Welborn of Brandon, and Paula Secrest of Macon, Ga.; hersons, Paul Case of Florence and Tony Hamilton of Pearl; her sister,Evie Oswalt of Clinton; and 10 grandchildren, 21great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
