Services for Jessie Honea of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Wednesday,Sept. 11, at Shiloh Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home inMonticello.

Mrs. Honea, 91, died Sept. 8, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Sontag on April 9, 1911, to the late Baileyand Jennie Hedgepeth Douglas.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence county.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Ela C.Honea.

Survivors are her son, Calvin Honea of Sontag; her daughters,Adell Smith of Sontag and Nelda Shows of Pearl; his brothers,Charles Ray Douglas of Sontag; and his sisters, Addie Mae Turnageof Sontag, Sally Whiddon of Satelite, Fla., and Bobbie Nell Spikesof Pearl.
