Services for Alvin B. “A. B.” Duck of Liberty, formerly ofFayette, are 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at Franklin Funeral HomeChapel with burial in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in AmiteCounty.

Visitation is Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mr. Duck, 91, died Aug. 21, 2002, at SMRMC. He was born in AmiteCounty on May 30, 1911, to Horatio Duck and Lizzie Wilson Duck.

He was a retired business owner. He was a member of FayetteBaptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Minnie LeeDuck; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
