Services for Gertrude Martin of Monticello are 11 a.m. Monday,Aug. 12, at First Baptist Church in Monticello with burial in thechurch cemetery.
Visitation is 9 a.m. Monday until funeral time at the church.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Martin, 90, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at her residence.She was born in Lawrence County on July 4, 1912, to the late CarseyHarris and Selena Butler Harris.

She was retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church, whereshe was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and clerk. She wasalso a helper at Lawrence County Nursing Home and a voting precinctworker.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Robert MartinJr. and daughter Jilluria Bridges.
Survivors are sons Ansley Martin of Houston, Texas, and EricMartin of Hattiesburg; daughters Hortense McCullough of OklahomaCity, Okla., and Beverly Kelly of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother;five sisters, 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; fourgreat-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
