Services for Chrystine Buie of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. Saturday,July 13, at St. James M.B. Church with burial in Carver HeightsCemetery.

Visitation is Friday, July 12, from noon to 7 p.m. with familyhour from 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Buie, 80, died July 9, 2002, at her residence. She was bornin Copiah County on Sept. 21, 1921, to the late Walter Mitchell andMae Bell Barnes.

She was retired. She was a member of St. James M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Josie BuieSr.; and son, Josie Buie Jr.

Survivors are her son, Anthony Buie of Jacksonville, Fla.;daughter, Darlene Hooker of Brookhaven; son-in-law, Albert Hookerof Brookhaven; daughters-in-law, Mary L. Buie of Brookhaven andTwilah Buie of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Ethel Franklin ofBrookhaven and Doretha Allen of Joliet, Ill.; and grandchildren,Chad Buie and Natalie Buie of Jacksonville, Fla., and PorschiaWhite of Brookhaven.
