Graveside services for Robert L. Cooksey of Brookhaven are 11a.m., Wednesday, July 3, at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery inLawrence County.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.

Mr. Cooksey, 57, died June 27, 2002, at St. Luke’s Hospital inCedar Rapids, Iowa. He was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 10, 1945, toW. D. Maxwell and Mary Nell Harveston Maxwell.

He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of HarmonyBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Sterling Conrad Cooksey of Empire, Ala.;and his brother, William Davis Maxwell of Brookhaven.
