Services for Jerry Pat Armstrong of Monticello are 11 a.m.,Monday, July 1, at Wilson Funeral Home with burial in BethelBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Armstrong, 60, died June 28, 2002, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born on July 19, 1941, to Rex Armstrong and EraJackson.

He was a carpenter.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Sue Armstrong; his mother of Jayess; hissons, Glyn Armstrong of Ruth, Pat Armstrong of Monticello and WayneBoyd of Sartinville; his daughters, Jackie Alexander of BatonRouge, La., and Lisa Coates of Brookhaven; his brother, BurlonArmstrong of Foxworth; his sisters, Linda Alexander of Jayess,Phylis Thornhill and Joan Allen, both of Foxworth, and Gail McCloudof Louisiana; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host ofnieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
