Services for Willie Houston Jr. of McComb are 2 p.m., Saturday,May 11, at Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Carver HeightsCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon through the wake service, whichis 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Houston, 62, died May 7, 2002, at his residence. He was bornin Franklin County on Oct. 13, 1939, to Willie Houston Sr. andRosetta Buie Houston.

He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart. He had been a truck driverfor Southern Wholesale/McLane for many years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sisters, LeolaMae Allen and Ora Lee Houston.

Survivors are his sons, Willie W. Smith and Ronnie Bass, both ofBrookhaven; his daughters, Marcella Bates, Annette Johnson, ConnieSmith, Rochelle Mackabee, all of Brookhaven, and Wynette Seay ofAtlanta; his sisters, Ruby Wilcher, Earlene Lenoir, Willene Black,and Jeanette Newton, all of Brookhaven; and 14 grandchildren, onegreat-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
