Services for Ephraim “E. J.” Diggs of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Thursday, April 11, at Beulah Chapel M. B. Church with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 6 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome.
Mr. Diggs, 58, died April 4, 2002, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Sept. 11, 1943, to Ephraim Diggs and EarlineMagee Diggs.
He was a former machine operator at International Paper. He wasa member of Beulah Chapel M. B. Church.
In addition to his parents, survivors are his wife, Willie AdamsDiggs of Brookhaven; his son, Ronald Dillon of Portland, Ore.; hisdaughters, Lisa Thomas of Sacramento, Calif., and Daffanie Diggsand Sabrina Wilcher, both of Brookhaven; his brothers, Waldo Diggsand David Diggs, both of Brookhaven, and Wayne Diggs of Atlanta;his sister, Margaret Thadison of Brookhaven; and sevengrandchildren.
