Services for Emmanuel “Pete” Barlow Jr. of Wesson are 11 a.m.,Saturday, April 6, at St. Peter Rock M. B. Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon to 8 p.m., with the family hourfrom 7-8 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Barlow, 73, died March 30, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Hazlehurst on Jan. 5, 1929, to EmmanuelBarlow Sr. and Lena Mae Barlow.

He was retired. He was a member of St. Peter Rock M. B.Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Candies M. Barlow of Wesson; his sons,Jackie Barlow and Alton Sallie, both of Wesson, Ike Brown ofHazlehurst, James Sallie of Forest, and Fredderick Barlow ofMorton; his daughters, Theresa Smith, Kathy Barlow, and DorisSmith, all of Wesson, and Denise Bryant of Brookhaven; hisbrothers, Nathaniel Bennett of Chicago and Ellis Barlow ofHazlehurst; his sisters, Beatrice Wilson of Wesson, Mary Meyers andHattie Barlow, both of Hazlehurst, and Ardella Bouie of St. Louis,Mo.; and 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
