Services for Maxine Roberts Bacot of Summit are 11 a.m., Friday,March 15, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with burial in WoodlawnCemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bacot, 81, died March 13, 2002, at Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 22, 1921, toNedom Roberts and Era Thornhill Roberts.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Moak’s Creek BaptistChurch. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and anhonorary member of the Summit Garden Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, EldonRoberts.

Survivors are her husband of 61 years, James W. Bacot of Summit;her son, Fred Bacot of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren.
