Services for Glyn Scott Johnston Jr. of Ruth were 11 a.m.,Monday, March 11, at Topisaw Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Johnston, 18, died March 8, 2002, at Lawrence CountyHospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He wasborn in McComb on May 30, 1983, to Glyn Scott Johnston and SondraHerrington Johnston. He was a 2001 graduate of Enterprise HighSchool, where he played football and baseball.

He was a pipe fitter helper at the Monticello Georgia PacificMill for J.I. CLLC Company. He was a member of Topisaw BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Glenn Johnston.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, AmberLynn Johnston of Ruth; his grandparents, John and Nita Herringtonof Ruth and Allen and Marlene Rushing of Bogue Chitto; and a hostof aunts, uncles, and cousins.
