Services for Vera Jean Redd of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,March 9, at St. Mark M. B. Church with burial in HillcrestCemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m. with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mrs. Redd, 45, died March 2, 2002, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on July 15, 1956, to Rosetta andAnnize King.
She was disabled.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her grandparents,Connie and Clyde Stevenson; her sister, Corina King; and herbrother, Emile Hamilton.
Survivors are her son, John Redd Jr. of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Sonya Redd of Brookhaven; her stepdaughter, JackieJohnson of Brookhaven; her stepmother, the Rev. Mildred King Grahamof Brookhaven; her sisters, Jeanette Smith and Julie Robinson, bothof Brookhaven; her brothers, Samuel King and Larry King, both ofBrookhaven, the Rev. Versie King of Jackson, Henry King ofMissoula, Mont., Gregory Hamilton of New Orleans, and TyroneRobinson of Pascagoula; and one granddaughter.
