Services for Bennie Marlon Floyd of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Monday, Jan 21, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inLittle Bahalia Cemetery.

Mr. Floyd, 64, died Jan. 19, 2002, at his residence. He was bornin Wesson on Aug. 23, 1937, to John Lewis Floyd and Myrtis CaseFloyd.

He was a retired oilfield worker. He was a member of LittleBahalia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father; his son, John MichaelFloyd; his brother, Johnny Raymond Floyd, and his son-in-law, BillyWilliams.

Survivors are his mother, Myrtis Case Floyd of Warrenton, Ga.;his daughters, Kristen Lambert of Jackson and Melissa Williams andAngie Smith, both of Wesson; his brothers, Kendall Floyd ofBrookhaven and Bobby Floyd of Thompson, Ga.; his sisters, ShirleyDurr of Hazlehurst, Marilyn Stevenson of Warrenton, Ga., and JaniceQuinn of Hattiesburg; and five grandchildren.
