Services for Luada Brown of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Thursday,Jan. 17, at Kynett United Methodist Church with burial in EbenezerChurch Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 8 p.m. with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mrs. Brown, 80, died Jan. 13, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Jefferson County on April 17, 1921, toCharlie Benson and Lula Benson.
She was retired as a restaurant owner and operator for over 50years. She was a member of Kynett United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, NathanielBenson, R. W. Benson, Robert Benson, Shelton Williams and R. J.Wilson; and her sisters, Jo Anna Coleman, Nannie Baker and LauraBenson.
Survivors are her husband, Earnest Brown of Brookhaven; her son,Edward L. Brown of Brookhaven; her sister, Helen Benson of Jackson;her brother, Charlie Ray Benson of Indianapolis, Ind.; hergrandson, E. Lamonte Brown of Jackson; and her granddaughter, OuidaL. Brown of Durham, N.C.
