Graveside services for Henry Nalty Smith of Mt. Olive are 2p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 77, died Jan. 6, 2002, at V. A. Hospital in Jackson.He was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 3, 1924, to Roy P. Smith andGertrude Watts Smith.

He was a retired auditor for Union Oil Company. He was a memberof the Baptist faith. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Earl J.Smith; and his son, Darrell Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Fay Nicholson Smith of Mt. Olive; hisson, Bradford N. Smith of Brookhaven; his daughter, Carolyn MarieSmith of New York; his brother, L. C. Smith of Natchez; and hissisters, Doris Billingsley of Jackson and Joann Sartin ofBrookhaven.
