Services for Pernell Emfinger of Meadville are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Bude First Baptist Church with burial inMidway Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home andWednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Emfinger, 87, died Dec. 16, 2001, at SMRMC. He was born inFranklin County on Dec. 30, 1913, to William Albert Emfinger andRosie Ezell Emfinger.

He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was a memberof Bude First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, WarrenEmfinger; and one sister and one brother.

Survivors are his wife, Mattie Emfinger of Meadville; his sons,Bill Emfinger of Avendale, La., Willard Emfinger of Monterey, La.,and Shelton Emfinger of Hattiesburg; his daughter, Relda Waller ofColumbus; his brother, Ray Emfinger of Meadville; his sister, OtaStroud of Meadville; and 12 grandchildren and 19great-grandchildren.
