Services for Ethelrine Dickerson of Wesson are 3 p.m., Saturday,Oct. 27, at St. Peter Rock M. B. Church in Beauregard with burialin the church cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome.
Mrs. Dickerson, 68, died Oct. 22, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Beauregard on Oct. 5, 1933, toCharlie Smith and Leula Brooks Smith.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Rock M. B.Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, four sisters, and onebrother.
Survivors are her husband, Bernell Dickerson Sr. of Wesson; hersons, Bernell Dickerson Jr. and Howard Dickerson, both ofBeauregard, and Donald Dickerson and Michael Dickerson, both ofAtlanta; her daughters, Joan Brown of Brookhaven, Annette Ellis ofFt. Worth, Texas, Betty Pearl Smith of Beauregard, Esther Dickersonand Peggy Johnson, both of Atlanta, and Geraldine Dickerson ofWesson; her brothers, Charlie Lee Smith, Lester Smith, Sam Smith,and Walter Smith, all of Wesson, and Roy Smith of Los Angeles,Calif.; her sisters, Margaree Barefield and Mildred Robinson, bothof Lockport, Ill., Shirley Smith of Brookhaven, and Dorothy Smithof Wesson; and 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and ahost of nieces and nephews.
