Services for Ethel Smith of Brookhaven were 11 a.m., Friday,Oct. 12, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MacedoniaBaptist Church Cemetery.

Miss Smith, 76, died Oct. 10, 2001, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 24, 1925, to OldenSmith and Emmie Watts Smith.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and fivesisters.

Survivors are her special nieces, Ann Oliver and DorothyNettles, both of Brookhaven, and several other nieces andnephews.
