Services for Sammuel Hermon Allen of Bellflower, Calif., will beheld at a later date in Brookhaven with burial at RiverwoodMemorial Park. Memorial services in California were held Saturday,Sept. 15.

Mr. Allen, 68, died Sept. 8, 2001, in Bellflower. He was born inRuth and had resided in Bellflower for over 39 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Lexie Allen;his sister, Juanita Allen; and his brothers, Robert Earl and BillyFrank Allen.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann Summerlin-Allen; his son,Juadon Allen; his daughter, Angela Trusdale; his brother, Larry”Mack” Allen of Downey, Calif.; his sisters, Beverly Haynes ofSacramento, Calif., Rita Tucker of Brookhaven and Pam Houff ofHernando; and five grandchildren.
