Services for Charles A. “Dutsie” DeLaune Jr. of Brookhaven are 2p.m., Friday, Aug. 31, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. DeLaune, 43, died Aug. 29, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Baton Rouge on June 18, 1958, to Charles A. DeLaune Sr. andMargie Lewis DeLaune Coke.

He was an oil field derrickman.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Margie and Kenneth Cokeof Brookhaven; his son, Charles Anthony DeLaune of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Amberlaine DeLaune of Brookhaven; his brother, Roy Goreof Sillsbee, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Shelia King andCameron King of Brookhaven; and his nieces, Dana and KaylaKing.
