The host Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets handed the Wesson LadyCobras a 10-2 defeat Friday night in a make-up slowpitch softballgame.

Nikki Leggett was the winning pitcher and Brittany King absorbedthe loss.

Powering Enterprise (3-0) with a double and a single was LaceyPalomarez. Ashley Tate and Emily Smith singled twice. Breann Laird,Leggett, Nicole Floyd and Megan Criswell singled for Coach SteveSasser’s Lady Jackets.

Wesson got a single apiece from King, Maggie Johnson, HaleyCarr, and Brittany Smith.

Enterprise begins division play Monday at Natchez Cathedral. Thejunior varsity game begins at 5 p.m. and the varsity at 6.

Wesson, coached by Lane Young, hosts West Lincoln Tuesday,starting at 6 p.m., with a junior varsity game.

In the JV game, Wesson nipped Enterprise4-3.
