Services for Ouida Agnes Rudder of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Sunday,Aug. 5, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in BogueChitto Cemetery.

Miss Rudder, 89, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Haven HallNursing Home. She was born in Bassfield on Jan. 24, 1912, to thelate Virgil Taylor and Nettie Carter Rudder.

She was a retired unit secretary for King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Miss Rudderenjoyed crocheting and working crossword puzzles.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, James andKenneth Rudder; a sister, Mary Lou Sproles; and a nephew, John”Dub” Sproles.

Survivors are her nephews, Ken Rudder of El Dorado, Ark., andJimmy Rudder of Bogue Chitto; nieces, Dorothy S. Oberschmidt ofBrookhaven, Margaret S. Simmons of Baton Rouge, La., Sue R. Robisonof Summit, Jeanette R. Welch of Bogue Chitto and Pat McClendon ofRichland; and a sister-in-law, Montee Rudder McEwen of BogueChitto.
