Services for Wilford Wade Mitchell of Pearl are 2:30 p.m.,Saturday, July 28, at Lakewood Funeral Home South with burial inLakewood Memorial Park South.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and after 1 p.m. Saturday at thefuneral home.

Mr. Mitchell, 86, died July 26, 2001, at Whitfield MedicalSurgical Hospital.

He was a retired carpenter.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Leila Mae BridgesMitchell; and his son, Ronald Wade Mitchell.

Survivors are his daughters, Gail M. Weeks of Pearl and GwenCummins of Brookhaven; his son, Gary Wayne Mitchell of Pearl; hisbrother, William L. Mitchell of Jackson; his sisters, Edna Smith ofMadison, Florence Channell of Gallman, and Thelma Roberts of Pearl;and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Jackson Seventh Day Adventist ChurchPathfinder Club.
