Services for Bernard R. McCloskey of Heber Springs, Ark., are 11a.m., Thursday, May 31, at St. Albert’s Catholic Church with burialin Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.

The rosary is today at 7 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home.

Mr. McCloskey, 74, died May 28, 2001, at the VA Hospital inLittle Rock. He was born in Philadelphia, Miss., on Feb. 27, 1927,to Joseph McCloskey II and Rosie Agnes McCloskey.

He was retired from the Army and was a veteran of WWII andVietnam. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. He was a member ofSt. Albert’s Catholic Church.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Wood McCloskey of Heber Springs;his sons, Michael McCloskey of Madison, Ala., and Pat McCloskey ofMemphis; his sisters, Sister Mary Matthew of Brookhaven and AgnesCathryn Petrie of New Braunsfels, Texas; and threegrandchildren.
