Services for Winnie W. Allen of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Friday,April 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MissionHill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Allen, 79, died April 11, 2001, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 21, 1921, to WilliamLeon Watson and Katie Case Watson.

She was retired from Stahl Urban. She was a member of PearlhavenBaptist Church

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GarlandAllen; her sister, Nancy Elizabeth Allen; her brothers, John Abnerand Willie Watson; and an infant brother.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Leroy andConnie Allen and William Michael and Agnes Allen, all ofBrookhaven; her brother, John L. Emerson of Brookhaven; her sister,Maude Alice Prishmont of Brookhaven; and five grandchildren and sixgreat-grandchildren.
