MONROE – The Co-Lin Wolves encountered strong pitching fromBossier Parish Community College and dropped a Monday doubleheader.Bossier won the oopener 6-4 and the nightcap 5-1.

Co-Lin will make up last Friday’s rained out home games withBishop (Al.) State on Feb. 28. The Wolves resume play Saturday atBishop State in Mobile, Ala., starting at 1 p.m.

Bossier 6, Co-Lin 4

Co-Lin rallied for one run and left one runner on basein the the seventh as Bossier escaped with the win at theUniversity of Louisiana-Monroe.

Seth Lofton and Bret Duncan collected RBIs for Co-Lin.Duncan tripled and Brandon Atkins doubled for theWolves.

Dereck Atkins was the losing pitcher. In three innings,Atkins gave up 5 earned runs, 7 hits, walked 3 and fanned 1 batter.He had 2 wild pitches and hit 2 batters.
