Ruby Nell Bass Crockett
Services for Ruby Nell Bass Crockett of Brookhaven are 1:30p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church with burialin the church cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 8, from noon until 7 p.m. withfamily hour from 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mrs. Crockett, 59, died Nov. 3, 2000, at University MedicalCenter. She was born in Lawrence County on Dec. 12, 1940, toBenjamin Bass and Ruby Oatis Bass.
She was disabled. She was a member of Pleasant Grove M.B.Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, J. D.Bass and Alvin Bass; and her sister, Chassie Mae Taylor.
Survivors are her son, Kenneth E. Bass of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Dianne Smith, Frankie Mae Kelly, Ruby L. Mackabee,Mattie Crockett, and Denice Crockett, all of Brookhaven, and JoyceA Wright and Terry T. Crockett, both of Jackson; her goddaughter,Philissa Thomas of Brookhaven; her sisters, Joyce Smith of SilverCreek, Edna Mae Bryant of Gulfport, Berteal Redd and Voncile Smith,both of Brookhaven, Catherine Mathis of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., OlaCarpenter, Mandy Gray, Paula Poole, Debra Bridges, and NoreenPoole, all of Hattiesburg; her brothers, V.T. Bass and Leroy Bass,both of Gulfport, Nolan Bass, James Poole, and Leroy Poole, all ofBrookhaven, Reggie Bass of Griffith, Ga., Harold Poole and FreddiePoole, both of Hattiesburg, and Calvin Poole of Jackson; and 17grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth Ann Dickerson
Services for Elizabeth Ann Dickerson of Richland are 10 a.m.,Thursday, Nov. 9, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon withburial in New Prospect Cemetery in Puckett.
Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Dickerson, 57, died Nov. 5, 2000, of injuries sustained inan automobile accident in Memphis. She was a native of Puckett.
She was a hairdresser at the Mississippi State Hospital inWhitfield. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church inJackson.
Survivors are her sons, Stevie Parker of Pearl and WilliamParker of Jackson; her sisters, Mary Sue Reeves of Middleburg,Fla., and Gloria Sweatman of Brookhaven; and two grandchildren.
Robert Harold Kahl
Services for Robert Harold Kahl of Hattiesburg are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Nov. 9, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 4-10 p.m. at HarrigillFuneral Home.
Mr. Kahl, 77, died Nov. 7, 2000, of heart failure at ForrestGeneral Hospital. He was born in Bush, La., on June 5, 1923, toWilliam F. Kahl and Sophia Fauntleroy Kahl.
He was retired as a draftsman and engineering assistant for St.Regis and Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Calvary BaptistChurch in Hattiesburg.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth B. Kahl of Hattiesburg; his sons,Harold E. Kahl of Purvis and Reuben F. Kahl of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Sophia White of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mary AnnLetchworth of Hattiesburg; his brothers, Floyd Kahl, Clinton Kahl,Hurbert Kahl, Charles Kahl, and James Kahl, all of Bush, La.; hissisters, Clara Mae Rushing of Waylon and Emily Richardson of Bush,La.; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
