N. Pike downs Lady Bears

Micki Jo Moak hit a home run and singled twice in leading theNorth Pike Lady Jaguars to a 9-3 Monday night win over the hostWest Lincoln girls. Winning pitcher Brandi Hamilton chipped in 2singles and a double as the Lady Jaguars raised their record to18-6 on the season.
North Pike, coached by Sonya Wallace, got 2 singles from ErinBoyd and Candi Cockerham. Melissa McKenzie also hit safely as theLady Jags rallied for 5 runs in the fifth.
Two singles by Hanna Roberts and Holli Bass led West Lincoln’s8-hit attack. Rebecca Wallace, Christy Lindigrin, JenniferRichardson and Dana King also hit safely.
Lindigrin, the losing pitcher, walked 2 batters as the LadyBears fell to 10-9 overall and remained 6-2 in Division 7-1Aplay.
In the JV game, West Lincoln (8-5) posted a 6-4 win, ledby Brittany Phillips who homered and singled. Emily Richardson andBritnee Smith also homered. Nicole Laird singled twice. AnnaStewart, April Kennedy and Jessie Jergins also hitsafely
North Pike got 2 hits from Kaylah McCarthy. Kayla Pricewas the losing pitcher.
West Lincoln hosts Franklin County Thursday and NorthPike hosts Lawrence County.
