Funeral Services for Ella Louise Ray of Wesson are 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Decell Memorial United Methodist Church with burial in the Wesson Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

Mrs. Ray, 85, died of pulmonary fibrosis on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her residence.

She was a longtime member of Decell Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a faithful member of the Fellowship Sunday School class and was serving as the church’s financial secretary. She was also a long time member of the United Methodist Women and was serving as treasurer at the time of her death. She was an avid gardener and a lifetime member of the Wesson Garden Club.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles A. Ray, Jr.

Survivors are her two daughters, Anne “Tom” Sims and Betty Ray, both of Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wesson Cemetery Association.
