DAILY LEADER / KATIE WILLIAMSON / The original high school band, The Brutes, plays at the 14th Annual Brookstock Music Festival Saturday Night in the Brookhaven Rec Department. Brookstock is an annual musical event that began when The Brutes, a local band made up of high school students, performed together again for the first time in 30 years at a reunion in 1998. The idea of coming back to perform in Brookhaven caught on, they've been getting together to perform each July.

Also during Saturday's program, Jimmy "Black Oak Arkansas" Henderson performs some heavy-duty guitar playing.
