Timothy ‘Tim’ Lynn Johnson

Funeral Services for Timothy “Tim” Lynn Johnson of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Bethel A.M.E. Church. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary and there will be a private family hour at Bethel A.M.E. Church at 10 a.m.

Mr. Johnson died July 9, 2014. He was born on Sept. 12, 1963, in Brookhaven to the late former city alderman Clarence B. Johnson Sr. and Mary Hall Johnson.

He is a product of the Brookhaven public school system and graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1981 where he was a member of the Panther Band. Tim went on to attend Copiah-Lincoln Community College majoring in education.

Tim’s employment history included working at the Lincoln Residential Center, Alaska Psychiatric Institute in Anchorage, Alaska, where he resided for seven years. Upon returning to Brookhaven he was employed with Boswell Regional Center and was presently employed with the Brookhaven School District at Alexander Junior High School.

Tim was fun-loving, unselfish, free-spirited individual who loved to laugh and make others laugh. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents; older brother, Clarence Johnson Jr.; and older sister, Wanda Denise.

Survivors are his two brothers, Ramon and Kenneth.
