A memorial service for Donnabel Higginbotham Langford of Meadville is 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville with burial in Midway Cemetery. The Rev. Dale Linton will officiate. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Franklin Funeral Home and will continue on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Langford, 91, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at her residence.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 52 years, E.W. “Tiny” Langford; parents, Quantrell “Tont” Higginbotham and Nelie Cunningham Higginbotham; son, Allen “Badge” Langford; brothers, Alfred, Hugh and Elmer Higginbotham.

Survivors are her daughters, Eva L. Guice “Mike” of Meadville, Daisy L. Arnold “Scotty” of Meadville and Jo Nell Griffith “Larry” of Meadville; eight grandchildren, Michelle Orr, Cindy Ashmore, Melinda Arnold, Kristi Matthews, Donna Brewer, Tommy Arnold, Allison Kirkendall and Jennifer Griffith; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law; Dee Langford.

Pallbearers are Nathan Orr, Jamie Matthews, Jeff Mullins, Bill Halford, David Scarbrough and Kirk Williamson.

Honorary Pallbearers include, Danny Oglesby, Jimmy Torrety and Tommy Hutto.
