Funeral Services for Kenneth Eugene Bowman of Brookhaven are 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Southway Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 11 a.m. until time of service at Southway Baptist Church.

Mr. Bowman, 67, died July 8, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on Sept. 30, 1947, to Herman L. Bowman and Elsie Newton Bowman.

He was a retired paramedic and retired United States Naval Reserve. He was a veteran, serving in Vietnam, Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Afghanistan wars and was a member of Southway Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are his wife, Kim Bowman; son, Kenneth Bowman Jr. and wife, Terri, of Oklahoma; daughters, Mariah Bowman Reed and husband, Tony, of Brandon, and Pepper Allen of Brookhaven; brother, Richard Bowman and wife, Pam, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Brett Knight, Skyler Knight, Alex Mullins, Kasie Allen, Taylor Allen, Tyler Allen and McKenzie Bowman; and nieces and nephews.
