Visitation for Minnie Grace Wallace Albrecht of Bogue Chitto was Thursday, July 3, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home and burial was Saturday at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas. Jones Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Albricht, 81, died July 2, 2014, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. She was born on May 12, 1933, in Bogue Chitto to Bailey Arthur Wallace and Daisy Phillips Wallace.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McComb. Mrs. Albrecht loved to sew and also loved her flowers. She worshiped her granddaughter and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Connie Gail Lewis; one brother, Arthur “Pete” Wallace; and three sisters, Georgia Faye Franks, Reaber Lavelle Wallace and Katie Ruth McCaffery.

Survivors are her loving husband, Clarence Albrecht of Bogue Chitto; one son, Bobby Lewis Jr. and wife, Carole, of Houston, Texas; one granddaughter, Valerie Lewis of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Leonard Gene Wallace and wife, Dorothy, of Bogue Chitto, and Bryant Phillip Wallace and wife, Deborah, of Wilmer, Alabama; two sisters, Betty Joe Murphree of New Caney, Texas, and Daisy Elaine Allred and husband, George, of Bogue Chitto; a special nephew and caretaker, Corey Allred of Bogue Chitto; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blair Batson Children’s Hospital.
