Lincoln Americans debut Friday in DYB Majors 11’s tourney

The Lincoln County eleven-year-old Americans will begin their playoff march Friday when they entertain the McComb Americans at Keystone Park.

Lincoln County Americans will host the four-day tournament featuring three teams. Each game will start at 7 p.m.. The championship game is scheduled for Tuesday.

The tournament will follow the double-elimination format. Only one team will be allowed to advance to the State Tournament, which will be held in Magee, starting July 11.

The Lincoln Americans will also be in action Saturday as they take the McComb Nationals. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Keystone Park.

Representing the 2014 Lincoln County 11-year-old American All-Stars are: Daniel Falvey, Dylan Carter, Matthew Burns, Jacob Smith, Dakota Willard, Collin Waldrop, Gage Brown, Jon Allbritton, Cade Watson, Ty Webb, Dylan Reeves, Wyatt Hodges. Head Coach:  Bob Watson. Assistant Coaches:  Chip Carter, Brad Hodges.
