Funeral services for Floyd C. Davis of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 until 3 p.m.

Mr. Davis, 82, of Bogue Chitto, died April 23, 2014, at The University Medical Center in Jackson. He was born April 16, 1932, to Charlie Davis and Maggie Calhoun Davis.

He was retired from the oil field, a Mason affiliated with the Bogue Chitto Masonic Lodge 260, and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Young Davis; parents; brothers Clyde Davis and Travis Davis and a sister, Charlene Welch.

He is survived by son, Chuck Davis and wife, Stacey; daughters, Lynn Leake, Cindy Nettles and husband, Doug, Annette Reeves and husband, Rex; brother, Marion Davis; seven grandchildren; Jamie Nettles, Jason Leake, Justin Leake, Larissa Hart, Angela Jackson, Todd Davis and Bradi Davis and eight great grandchildren.
