Flashes stun Bogue Chitto

The Bogue Chitto Bobcats suffered a tough 4-0 loss to the St. Aloysius Flashes in a Saturday make up contest in Region 7-1A baseball action.

The Bobcats (6-14, 2-4), coached by Russ Carter, will resumes action Monday as they prepare to their Lincoln County rivals the Enterprise Yellow Jackets. The junior varsity contest starts at 5 p.m., followed the varsity game at 7 p.m.

Steven Ginn suffered the setback on the mound for the Bobcats. Ginn (5K, 1BB) pitched five innings and gave up four runs which only two runs were earned.

Nick Parker (0K, 0BB) came to pitch in relief in the sixth inning. He only gave up one hit and hit a batter on a bad throw.

Brooks Ingle was the top hitter for BC’s offense as he went two-for-three with two singles. Nick Parker also contributed a single.
