Funeral services for Emerson Case of Haven Hall Nursing Home are 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mr. Case, 92, died April 13, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 28, 1921, in Lincoln County to Pearlie Case and Carrie Chandler Case.

He served in the United States Army during World War II and was retired from Lockheed Aircraft in Texas. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; step-mother, Nettie Case; two wives, Geneva Martin Case and Dorothy Wooten Case; daughter, Carol Case; sisters, Iva Pearl Case Smith and Virgie Case Arnold; brothers, Elkin Case and Elmer “Toke” Case; and two step-sisters, Bernice Walker and Donis Rae Tullos.

Survivors are one son; Danny Case of Texas; half-brother, Delton Case and wife, Barbara, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two grandsons, Robert Wesley Case and Roger Case; brother-in-law, Charles Martin; sister-in-law, Bobbie Martin; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
