Funeral services for Ossie Mae Corley Stewart of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Zion Hill M.B. Church with burial in Zion Hill M.B. Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, April 11, 2014, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Stewart, 81, died April 6, 2014, at Haven Hall. She was born on Aug. 3, 1931, in Wesson to Odell Corley and Ora Williams Corley.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Melvin Stewart Sr.; children, Melvin Stewart Jr., Mackie Odell Stewart, Myrtle “Mondra” Smith Stewart, and Minyon Stewart Coleman.

Survivors are her sons; Marvin Stewart Sr. of Chicago, Ill., and Malcolm Stewart and wife, Barbara, of Brookhaven; daughters, Myrtis Beatrice Stewart Smith of Brookhaven, and Montina Stewart Triplett of Byram; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Bryant, Margaret Butler and husband, Wilbert Sr., and Bobbie Jean Gibson, all of Wesson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
