Brookhaven native Laura Beth Wright is enjoying her sophomore year at the University of Mobile playing basketball for the Lady Rams. The Lady Rams have currently won the Southern States Conference title and will play today in NAIA National tournament in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Wright has been nominated for the Emil S. Liston Award. She was awarded the Champion of Character Award on a National Level as well as at the SSAC Tournament banquet Tuesday night. The Lady Rams first game starts at 9:45 a.m. and it can be seen online at NAIA.org.
