HATTIESBURG – The Franklin High Archers took first place in Class 3A and 3rd place overall at the Hattiesburg Archery meet Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs, coached by Todd Haygood and Connie Johnston, out shot 29 teams in the 32-team field.

Top archers with score for Franklin are as follows: Leigh Beth Hurst 278, Blake Smith 274, Jon Wilkinson 272, Austin Wallace 268, Cole Middleton 268, Erich Buckles 267, Kelsi Barron 266, Joshua Owen 266, Brittany Holloway 263, Patrick Lehmann 253, Katelynn Moak 249, Anna Grace Wilson 249.

The FC archers will compete in the State Tournament in Jackson next month.
