PHOTO SUBMITTED / Region 8 Mental Health Commission recently held their 2013 Annual Awards Ceremony at the Hinds Community College Muse Center in Pearl. Employees were honored for outstanding performance, professionalism, and 5, 10 and 15-year tenure. Also among the awards was the Commissioners’ Award of Excellence, presented to an administrative employee that exemplifies, through their actions, a model of leadership and who has made significant contributions through their giving spirit to the Region 8 Commission, its employees, and citizens served by the agency. 2) Among those on hand for the ceremony were (from left) Region 8 Commissioners Tillmon Bishop, Jason Womack, John Fletcher (2012 Commissioners’ Award recipient), Cliff Reed and Melvin Ray, along with Dave Van, Region 8 executive director.
