The famous Budweiser Clydesdales paid a very special visit to a Brookhaven family Sunday afternoon, thanks to local insurance agent Josh Smith’s winning entry in an Anheuser-Busch contest. While Sunday’s gathering at the Lincoln Civic Center arena was a special party for the Smith family and their friends, the Clydesdales are staying overnight and will be on display for the public Monday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the arena stall barn.

Watch for more photos of the Clydesdales and additional coverage in Tuesday’s Daily Leader.

Sloane and Josh Smith and children, (front from left) Sara Rodgers, 9; Hamp, 4; and (back row) Emmie, 2, received a special visit from the Budweiser Clydesdales Sunday afternoon. The horses and wagon were originally going to arrive at the Smiths’ residence but were detoured to the Civic Center arena due to the thunderstorms Sunday afternoon.
