Funeral services for Danny Carroll Hallman of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mr. Hallman, 58, died Jan. 19, 2014, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 15, 1955, to L.V. Hallman and Doris Channell Hallman.

He worked in sales at Advanced Auto Parts and he was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of Woodman of the World and an avid deer hunter. He loved people and never met a stranger.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his wife, Melanie C. Hallman; his mother; sisters, Debra Hallman Chattam and husband, John, Cathy Hallman McGuffee and husband, Greg; niece, Anna McGuffee; nephew, Adam McGuffee and wife, Shelby; brothers-in-law, Bryan Mitchell and Ronald Mitchell; sisters-in-law, Cindy Rhoads and Dorothy Moorefield; uncle, Jimmy Hallman; and father and mother-in-law, Lee and Bobbie Crews.
