Behind the play of Co-Lin signee Jennifer Luckett, Pisgah was able to jump out to a 17-7 first quarter lead and never looked back in route to a 52-34 victory over the visiting Lady Jackets.

Enterprise cut the lead to single digits midway through the third quarter, but a stifling and aggressive Lady Dragon defensive effort in the fourth quarter doomed Enterprise.

Freshman guard Alissa Barlow’s 12 points and 6 assists led Enterprise. Marki Case added 9 points and 6 assists for the Lady Jackets.

Slow starts continue to be the theme for Coach Knight’s Enterprise Yellow Jackets, but managed to overcome it once again, this time on the road in an impressive 58-33 come from behind win.

After one quarter, the offenses for both teams struggled as Pisgah held a 7-4 advantage. In the final three quarters, Enterprise (3-0) came alive offensively and finish the game on a 54-26 run in route to the blowout victory.

“I’m really proud of my guys’ effort for the final three quarters,” said Enterprise coach John Knight. “We played some of the best defense I’ve seen us play thus far. Our kids really grew up on the road in a tough environment.

John Gray pumped in 20 points to power Enterprise. Dwayne Pendleton added 18 and Forrest Scott scored 10 points for the visiting Jackets.

Pisgah was paced by TJ McGinnis’s nine points.

In junior high action,  Enterprise took two games from Pisgah. The Lady Jackets thumped the Lady Dragons 36-2. In boys’ action, the Yellow Jackets knocked off Pisgah by a final of 43-33.
